Blueberry Lemonade
images-1.jpeg
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh blueberries
(frozen work good too)
1 can frozen lemonade
-this can be found at Meijer for about $1.50
2 cups water or ice

Directions:
Blend blueberries, lemonade, water and/or ice until preferred consistency
Use ice if a slushy is preferred (I like this the best!)

Other Recommendations:
Using strawberries instead of blueberries is also very good!!!
Adding one whole lemon enhances the flavor of the lemonade.
This is a great drink for summer parties!
Fresh picked fruit is the best when the season is right.
The site, U-Pick Michigan, provides means of finding local farms where fresh fruit can be hand-picked!

Benefits of visiting local farms:
Frequenting local farms is a very beneficial act because local farms work very hard to enrich their community. Most local farms care about the well being of their communities and the people that reside in them. Although produce and meat from local farms tends to be more expensive than going to a large grocery store, it is normally well worth it because the quality of the food is wonderful and the consumer is well aware of where their food came from and how it was produced.
